Haaland silenced Old Trafford – after fans’ psyching up

Erling Haaland was booed when he arrived at Old Trafford.

Then he scored two goals in the Manchester derby.

The Manchester City superstar was all smiles as he stepped off the player bus outside United’s arena. At the same time, the home supporters booed the Norwegian.

When the rival meeting started, Haaland had a big smile.

In the 26th minute, the referee pointed to the penalty spot after VAR review. Rasmus Höjlund held Rodri in the penalty area. Erling Haaland easily scored 1-0.

But there should not be a penalty, says Fredrik Ljungberg.

– I don’t like this type. There will be a small hand, but Rodri certainly weighs 90-95 kilos. He throws himself, it is obvious that he throws himself, says the expert in Viaplay’s studio.

He continues:

– Then this will be Spanish football. I don’t want Spanish football in the Premier League, I’m a bit annoyed. Then I hear that it is Michael Oliver in the VAR room, so I am not immediately surprised that there will be a penalty.

Haaland struck straight away in the second half. All alone in the penalty area, he headed in 2-0.

In the 80th minute, the Norwegian played up to Phil Foden who easily slotted in the final score 3-0.
