Bayern Munich overrun in Kane’s debut

On the same day that the billion transfer was completed, Harry Kane had the chance to take the first title of his career.

But the debut in Bayern Munich ended in defeat.

RB Leipzig beat Bayern to win the German Supercup.

Harry Kane barely had time to train with his new club before it was time for his debut. The English striker, for whom Bayern Munich paid over one billion kroner, jumped into the second half of the German Supercup final against RB Leipzig.

Then the score was 2–0 to Leipzig.

With Kane on the pitch, Bayern conceded the third. Dani Olmo completed a hat-trick.

Leipzig won the match – which was Kane’s chance to win the first title of his career – 3–0.

Harry Kane was presented by Bayern on Saturday morning. The former Tottenham striker is reported to receive a weekly salary of the equivalent of five million kroner.

In Leipzig, Emil Forsberg started on the bench. The Swede jumped in with just over ten minutes left to play.
